Viagra can Treat Cognitive Impairment in Patients of Multiple Sclerosis
A new research shows that very soon Viagra may be known not only just as an erectile dysfunction drug but also as a drug helpful in the treatment for some other disease as well.
In the recently concluded European Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis, it was revealed that if the research studies and their conclusions are to be believed then very soon Viagra may be used as an effective treatment to treat the cognitive impairment found in more than 50% patients of multiple sclerosis patients. It was found that Viagra increased the cerebral blood flow of the patients suffering from multiple sclerosis. Increased cerebral blood flow is very important for the brain as it means that there is more flow of oxygen to the neurons and hence there is activation of the brain activity. Low blood flow in the nervous system is very dangerous for the survival of a person. Viagra induces more blood flow to the central nervous system.
It has also been found that there is no difference in the area of brain activation of a Multiple Sclerosis patients and a patient suffering from diabetes, when given the dosage of Viagra.
This study has been a remarkable study as far as the treatment of the multiple sclerosis patients is concerned. Viagra can be very soon seen improving the cognitive behavior patterns of patients suffering from Multiple Sclerosis patients. |
