When should you not take Viagra?
You should not take Viagra if you are using nitrate drugs to control angina pain because the combination of the nitrate drugs and Viagra can lower your blood pressure dangerously putting your life at risk. Such combinations of drugs are life-threatening for you.

How to take Viagra?
Viagra is taken by mouth as needed between four hours and one-half hour before sexual activity (about one hour before is most effective). Take only as directed, usually once daily as needed. Sildenafil citrate works along with sexual stimulation to help achieve an erection.

Missed Dosage
Viagra is not supposed to be taken regularly like a daily dose of medicine. Viagra is taken only prior to the sexual activity say 30 mnts to 1 hr before.

Viagra Precautions
- Your doctor will tell you how much of this medicine to use and how often. Do not use more medicine or use it more often than your doctor tells you to.
- Sildenafil citrate is for men who have trouble getting and maintaining an erection. It will not make a normal erection last longer or occur more often. This medicine is not for men who have normal sexual function.
- You may be told to take one dose of medicine about one hour before you have sex.
- It is best to not eat a high-fat meal before using this medicine, because it may take longer for the medicine to work.
- Do not worry if you miss a dose because Viagra is not supposed to be taken everyday like other prescription drugs. You are required to take it only before your sexual activity.
- This medicine is used when you want to have an erection. You should not use the medicine more often than one time each day.
- Not everyone should take Viagra. It's possible to experience serious side effects and drug interactions when using Viagra. Make sure your physician knows about all prescriptions and over the counter medication you use.
- If you are scheduled for surgery, even dental surgery, tell them you are using Viagra. Also, let your doctor know if you use butyl nitrate or amyl nitrate.
- Make sure your doctor knows if you have heart disease or any type of heart problems, sickle cell anemia, leukemia, bone marrow tumors, a bleeding disorder, a stomach ulcer, or an eye disease called retinitis pigmentosa. You should tell your doctor before taking Viagra in case if you have curved or abnormally-shaped penis.
- Viagra should not be given to women, children, or babies.
- Viagra will not keep your partner from getting pregnant. It will not protect you or your partner from diseases such as syphilis, herpes, or HIV. Use a latex condom for protection. Make sure you understand and practice safe sex.

Viagra should be stored at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C) away from light and moisture. The grown-ups should see to it that they keep Viagra and all other medications out of the reach of children.
